morning routine

On Thursday's and Friday's I'm back to my normal morning routine. I really enjoy my quiet time. Today is definalty a "me" day. Breakfast and computer time alone, then off to the salon to get a new do. After that, I'll spend some time in the pool then get ready for church. It's going to be a great day.

Summertime

Nothing too special has been going on around here. I've been working at Bella Vita Spa & Salon and working on headbands for Parker School Uniform Company. I've been spending a lot of time at our pool which is absolutely fantastic!

Matt is actually in training for management at Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy. He's schedule has been really full with that. He's been working 12 hour days so I haven't seen him as much as usual.

My sister is still living with us and now our friends are too. They moved back to Tulsa from Chicago and are staying with us until there place is ready. They have a 10 month old baby girl and we have really enjoyed having her in the house. It's been fun matching hair bows for her!

Wrigley, our Jack Russell has had some issues lately. He's doing ok now, but overheats pretty easily so we're keeping our eye on him.

So there's an update to what's been going on lately. Hopefully the next entry will been more exciting!!

my perfect sunday

• Start the day off with a vanilla latte
• Head to church to work in the nursery and hold sweet little babies for an hour
• Come home and fix an easy lunch
• Catch up on my DVR'ed shows
• Nap
• Eat a big bowl of ice cream
• Watch a movie on TV
• Run to the store to get candy for our late night movie
• Head to the movies with 2 couple friends
• Come home and realize that I need to do this more often

Family & Friends

Here's a look at what's been going on in the McWilliams home for the last 2 weeks. Our pool is finally up and running and my parents came down from Kentucky for a week visit. It was a week of swimming, fireworks, and of course mini golf!

Tea Party with Mimi

We went to Durant, OK to visit Matt's parents last weekend. A visit to "Mimi" & Papa's" is always relaxing. I always look forward to going down for some quiet time.

While we were there our neice, Maykalya had her birthday. One of her gifts was a tea set. She had to have a tea party as soon as got it. Uncle Matt and Mimi were her first guest.

after the storm

It's been extra rainy around here for awhile. A few nights ago we woke up to this...





This pool has been a hassle. We've filled 2 times only to realize that the ground wasn't as level as we thought. We figured the 3 time would be charm. It was full of water and ready to swim in...only it won't stop raining! The day after the big storm we wake up to find that all the water had poured out of the pool. How? Your guess is as good as mine! My husband is pretty frustrated by the whole thing...I sure don't blame him. This has been more work that we bargined for! Hopefully we will try again soon and be ready for the hot summer days that are fast approaching:)

just to clarify...

I'm not quitting the bow business! I've had a ton of people email and ask if I was quitting since I put some ribbon up for sale! I'm actually doing quit the opposite! I have 100 yard bolts of all the ribbon that I carry. I'm just getting rid of the little rolls so I can organize better. My bow room is busting at the seems with ribbon and bow goodies!

Thanks to all my faithful customers, I have had the biggest spring ever and already headed into a hectic summer. My retail locations are EXPLODING! I've got bows all over the US now and just recently started suppling bows to my first international company.
