BUSY!

Boy have I been makin' bows! I'm in bows up to my eyeballs! I'm getting ready for an Easter launch tomorrow with EliteBows and next week a Spring Cleaning launch with the Boutique Jaynes. Here's your sneak peak you privileged blog readers!

Can't leave the house without

These. No matter how late we are running I always find extra time to track down the cell and the sunglasses. As important as they are, you'd think I'd always be able to find them. What are your "can't leave the house without" items?

If I have to count one more thing.....

I'm in the middle of counting 100's and 100's yards of ribbon and all the other little hair bow things I have around here! It's inventory time and it's no fun! On top of all this crazy counting, I have to go back to Jan '07 and put all my financial records into Quicken...not looking forward to that either.

Speaking of Quicken...don't be fooled by the "now works with PayPal" advertisement...it doesn't! It might in the future, but that's one of the glitches they have to fix~ the only reason I went with Quicken was because I could integrate PayPal. URRRR totally frustrated!!!!

OK, I feel better now. Enough venting, back to counting.

my morning hangout

I've gotten into the habit of going to Panera EVERY morning! When Matt works at Abuelo's I drop him and drive across the parking lot. I stay for hours! This is typically where I blog. Food wise, I love it too. They have coffee and Mountain Dew...how can I go wrong with that! They just came out with a new tomato soup that is yummy too. I get lots of work done...make my phone class, schedule my bow classes, write class curriculum and of course keep up with all web and internet sales!

Clippie Art

Ok, so I've seen all those clippie art people that can make a piece of ribbon look like anything. I always thought they were cute, but wouldn't venture out to try myself.

I had to come up with classes to teach in Feb. and I got tired of the same thing so I decided to try the clippie art. Boy am I in love!!!! It is so much fun!! These pictures are some of the ones I worked on today. I have the cutest idea for a bunny I'm going to try too! They will be ready for purchase on the website soon.

Acts of Kindness

We had an ice storm in December that took out 4 of our 5 trees. Because of the holidays, we have been traveling and working extra to catch up. Needless to say, we haven't had time to work in the yard. I was gone all day today and when I got home, this is what I found.

Someone had come and picked up branches in our yard. I have no idea who did this for us, but it is a HUGE help. We probably still have 5 times that much to clean up, but that is totally encouraging to know that there are still people that commit random acts of kindness. Thank you.
